"Gotham" season 1, episode 4 spoilers show Bruce Wayne growing weary about the city's downward spiral, as Detective Gordon is seen confronting Penguin.

A teaser released by FOX show that a break-in is going to happen at the Wayne mansion by unidentified burglars. They seem to be looking for something and, based on Bruce Wayne's reaction, successfully carted away with the loot.

"Everything my parents have worked for have fallen into the hands of the criminals," Bruce says.

Towards the end of the video, Bruce Wayne can be seen asking Detective Gordon, "Do you believe Gotham can be saved?"

Meanwhile, more "Gotham" season 1, episode 4 spoilers reveal that Detective Gordon will confront Penguin after having made him promise during the pilot episode never to come back to the city in exchange for his life.

In the teaser clip by FOX, Detective Gordon is seen pushing Penguin against the wall as he barks, "I told you never to come back here again!"

But Penguin, who always plays his cards, tells the detective: "There's a war coming. I can help you. Trust me!"

As a contentious city council vote on the future of the Arkham district approaches, politicians from both sides are in danger.
