Earlier reports said that Apple has requested its manufactures to produce at least 70 million of the products for worldwide consumption.

Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 6, a 4.7 inch device and iPhone 6 Plus, a 5.5 inch device in September.

The newest iPhone boast of a 64-bit A8 processor, with an 8-megapixel camera, a better battery life and now allows payments from the mobile device.

Although Apple also unveiled its Apple Watch, the product will not be available publicly until 2015.

The newest model of iPhone is so popular that Apple Insider reported that during the first week of the device's availability it has sold at least 10 million units.

Digital Trends meanwhile reported that there are already reservations for the phones hitting 8 million mark, the phones will be made available in China stores by Oct. 17.

Another Apple product that is expected to be popular in China is the Apple Watch. Vogue China will feature in its cover page November issue the new wearable device.

Business of Fashion has quoted Angelica Cheung, Vogue China's editor-in-chief saying this about the Apple watch, "I just thought that they combined technology, style, and functionality and were very modern and, therefore, perfect accessories for the modern-day woman who is what the Vogue China woman is about," she said.
