Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran is breaking away from the shadow of her singer boyfriend, as Rihanna's ex mourned the death of his tattoo artist.

In a series of Instagram posts, Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran is seen showing off her hot car. In one shot, she is posing on the hood of a blue Lamborghini as she wore a plaid long-sleeved shirt over a midriff tank top with torn denims.

In the second shot, she is seen wearing a dress as prepares to to step inside the same car, along with the caption: "Much to smile about right now.. Strong positive vibes going on in my life that I'm more than thankful for."

A report from Us Weekly claimed that Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran should be threatened by Kendall Jenner who allegedly has become infatuated with Rihanna's ex after partying with him multiple times.

Reportedly, the upcoming model partied with Chris Brown and his friends following the MTV Video Music Awards at his place. "They hung out with friends until 5 a.m.," a source told the magazine.

Even if Chris Brown is back with Karrueche Tran after their brief split, a source claimed the Kendall is still hoping that something will happen. "She's obsessed with Chris!" claimed the source, and it seems the attraction is mutual as the singer reportedly thinks that Kendall is "really cute."

Meanwhile, Chris Brown took to social media to extend his condolences to his tattoo artist and friend, Michael Christopher Pebley aka Trigz Lokz, who was gunned down following a fight on Thursday in North Hollywood, said In Touch Weekly.

Chris Brown posted a photo on Instagram showing him posing with Trigz Loks with the caption, "RIP TRIGZ!!!"

He also tweeted: "Friend tells ABC7 that shooting victim is artist known as Trigz https://abc7.la/ZSM0wK " RIP homie. Shit it crazy!"
