Iggy Azalea has raised some eyebrows after a video surfaced showing her in a particularly contentious encounter with a paparazzo, that occurred outside a grocery store over the weekend. Apparently, the photog had been following Azalea and a friend around as they did their shopping, and tensions reached a boiling point when they reached the parking lot. A shouting match occurred in which the star went as far as to wish ebola upon the pap, and hope for his death. She later took to Instagram to explain her side of the story.

In the video, the two women are seen shouting, “Stop following us,” before Azalea’s friend spits on the pap. After insisting that he’s been assaulted, the photographer proclaims, “You got AIDS? I have AIDS now! Maybe I got ebola.” Azalea then responds, “I hope you have ebola, I hope you die. You’re a f*cking c*nt.” The pap then shouts, “You wanted to be a celebrity,” repeatedly until the star runs her shopping cart into him.

After the video surfaced, Azalea released a long statement on on the social media platform, which began, “Something is only ‘the way it is’ for as long as one ALLOWS it to be. What I’m comfortable consenting a paparazzi do doesn’t require anyone’s opinion but my own.”

She goes on to say that her behavior in the video “was classy in comparison to what he said to us inside the grocery store where we discovered him lying on the floor after we had repeatedly & politely asked him to leave multiple locations over the course of the day.” She explains, “I don’t hate paps, just the really aggressive ones… I only treated him the way he treated me all day,” before concluding, “Fair is fair playboys and girls. Peace out.”
