On October 13, stand-up comedian and actor, Zach Galifianakis stepped out to attend the premier of 'Birdman' and he looked like a hot new man as he looked 50 pounds lighter. The actor has come a long way since his Hangover days and it won't be a surprise if we see him as a leading star in a romantic comedy soon.

Zach Galifianakis Drops 50 Pounds

Zach displayed his brand-new look at the premier of Birdman sporting a grey suit with a baby blue shirt tucked underneath and flashing a navy blue tie in style. He is still flaunting his scurfy look, full-on beard and curly locks. The significant weight loss makes him look like a new man. The actor appears to be 50 pounds lighter and has lost considerable weight notably around his face.

The funny man is not a fan of being in the limelight! He told Hollywood Reporter, "It's confusing to me - all of this is confusing to me. They oversell it like we're curing cancer, you know what I mean? I just think it can be gross sometimes, the way Hollywood congratulates itself all the time."

Zach even said that being a celebrity is a "man-made" thing. Although he loves to act, he dislikes being a celebrity. This explains why this was his first public event appearance in a year! However, we are glad he opted for this event to debut his slimmer body.

Birdman is a black comedy that revolves around an actor famous for portraying iconic superhero who struggles to mount a Broadway play. Staring Zach himself along with Emma Stone, Michael Keaton and Edward Norton, this is the perfect cast for a dark comedy.

The film centers around a once famous actor (Michael) who battles to get his acting career back on track while performing in a Broadway play. Zach will be the play's producer which means we can expect many great moments between him and Michael as well as the other cast too.
