According to Hollywood Take, "Episode 8 of The Voice Season 7 airs Tuesday night on NBC. Coaches Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will continue to whittle down their teams during Night 2 of the 2014 Battle Rounds. Last night's episode of The Voice Season 7 began the sometimes-brutal Battle Rounds. Pharrell Williams had two of the most interesting duels of the night, starting with the highly-anticipated Maiya Sykes/Elyjuh Rene showdown. While it wasn't that surprising to see Elyjuh's growth potential win out over Maiya's massive voice, we were shocked that Maiya was not stolen by any of the other coaches. Team Pharrell's other battle on last night's Voice 2014 featured early favorite Luke Wade going up against Griffin. While Luke most impressed Pharrell, Blake Shelton swooped in and stole Griffin for his squad. Both artists have the potential to go far, which means Luke will have a chance to learn even more on the show. "Just being in that [Voice] environment, the most important thing for me now is knowing what I should expect from myself, what I should expect from the people I work with and the environment I need to put myself in to get the best out of me," Luke said before his Season 7 Battle Round aired. "That speaks to all aspects: business, production, singing, songwriting, all the different things, and I think if you can leave the show and try to stay on that level in terms of what you produce and make and how you do your business, you're never going to leave that kind of environment." Besides Maiya, the other artists eliminated from last night's Voice Battle Rounds were Team Gwen's Amanda Lee Peers and Team Adam's Jonathan Wyndham. Two other artists, Team Gwen's Jean Kelley and Team Blake's Craig Wayne Boyd, were stolen by Pharrell and Gwen, respectively. So what will happen in Episode 8 of The Voice? Tuesday night's show will continue the 2014 Battle Rounds."
