New Steve Carell ‘Foxcatcher’ Trailer Revealed, Channing Tatum Says He ‘Still Has Cauliflower Ear’ From Set Wrestling [VIDEO]

The latest trailer for dark Oscar buzzworthy film "Foxcatcher" was released today and Steve Carell is as terrifying as ever. In addition to the trailer, Channing Tatum has also begun to promote for "Foxcatcher" and in his latest interview he states that he still has some injuries from wrestling.

"Foxcatcher," which stars Steve Carell and Channing Tatum, continues to make the film festival circuit and garner attention in preparation for its theatrical release in November. Recently, Channing Tatum told Yahoo! Movies (via Indiewire) what it was like on set, specifically, how grueling wrestling was.

"You keep moving forward. I don't think my knees will ever be the same after that, and I still have cauliflower ear. But if I came out of the movie without it, I'd feel like I didn't do something right," said Tatum.

The story of "Foxcatcher" documents the strange and dark real life story of Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz's (played by Channing Tatum) toxic relationship with coach/billionaire John du Pont (played by Steve Carell).

The latest trailer that was released today offers up more images of Steve Carell as he leers over his group of Olympic wrestlers. It is somewhat a spoiler to reveal what Du Pont actually ended up doing that ended his career and made his story good source material. Nevertheless, based on the earliest reviews, Carell has a good chance of getting his first Oscar nomination for the role of the dangerously calculating wrestling coach.

In addition, according to Screen Rant, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo also have gained critical attention for their portrayal of the Schultz brothers. Finally they state that "director Bennett Miller (Capote, Moneyball) and screenwriters Dan Futterman (Capote) and E. Max Frye (Band of Brothers) have collected their fair share of critical accolade for turning a true story into a film that works as both a chilling sport/crime tale, as well as an insightful character study."

Fans of Channing Tatum and Steve Carell can check out the latest trailer for "Foxcatcher" below. The film is due out in theaters on November 14th.
