"Criminal Minds" season 10, episode 3 spoilers hint of a mass murder behind a plane crash and the investigation will lead to the backstory behind Jennifer Love Hewitt's character, Kate Callahan.

According to Cartermatt's "Criminal Minds" season 10, episode 3 spoilers, that fans will get a glimpse into the persona of Kate Callahan even if her transition as the newest member of the BAU seemed very seamless.

"On next week's new episode 'A Thousand Suns,' though, some of that could start to change a little bit," it said. "This is the first time that we'll see extensive backstory about her, as a flight will trigger some pretty terrible memories about something that happened in the past."

The synopsis offered some "Criminal Minds" season 10, episode 3 spoilers when it says: "When a passenger jet crashes in Colorado, the BAU team is called to build a profile around the suspicious circumstances. Also, the case hits close to home for Kate, who is reminded of a family tragedy."

However, Cartermatt hoped that the payoff in watching the episode and knowing about Kate Callahan's backstory will be worth it for the fans. "Criminal Minds," it said, has managed so far to steer clear from stereotypical characters so this episode "could also be the one that makes or breaks her on the show."

According to previous "Criminal Minds" spoilers from TV Guide: "Viewers won't get the full 411 on Jennifer Love Hewitt's character Kate Callahan for a while. Some of her secrets will emerge when a case early in the season hits a little too close to home. (Hint: It involves a plane crash.)
