Charice Reveals She May Transition To Become A Male During Interview With Oprah? Former ‘Glee’ Star Gets Personal On ‘Where Are They Now?’

Singer Charice Pempengco is opening up to Oprah.

The former "Glee" star will be featured on this Sunday's episode of OWN's "Where Are They Now?" And the 22-year-old singer will reportedly discuss some very personal matters.

"Who's excited to see this? #O #wherearetheynow #Oprah @oprah," Charice wrote on Instagram on Monday.

The music star also began a countdown on her Instagram account to the airdate on Oct. 19.

In the teaser for the interview, Winfrey asks Charice if she is thinking of transitioning to become a male. Viewers are left wondering, however, as the clip cuts away before the singer's response.

There has been some speculation on the subject since Charice began changing her image over the last year. She cut her hair and began to dress in what some deem "tomboyish" clothing.

The singer, who rose to fame after singing on Oprah Winfrey's ABC talk show in 2008, came out as a lesbian in June 2013.

"Yes, I am a tomboy," she said in a 2013 interview, using a Filipino term for lesbian. "I don't know what's the problem with that. Because for me, there isn't a problem with that."

"Now, I'd like to ask for forgiveness to those who aren't able to understand," added the star. "I just wanna say thank you personally to all my fans, to all the people who are still supporting me, who are still there for me, and honestly I am very, very happy."

"I know some people are more used to the old Charice, a ballad singer with the pigtails," Charice reportedly stated during a press conference at the time. "For me, in my heart, I've always wanted to be more edgy, rock, more [on the] dark side. I know some people think that this is very rebellious but it's not. It's just me evolving. It's me transforming into another person that is totally me."

Charice will appear on "Where Are They Now?" on Sunday, Oct. 19. The episode airs at 9/8c.
