"Once Upon a Time" cast Ginnifer Goodwin's baby Oliver is showing his early penchant for reading, as the ABC series was praised for advocating breastfeeding.

In an interview with Us Weekly, "Once Upon a Time" cast Ginnifer Goodwin shared tidbits about family life since baby Oliver was born.

She said that husband Josh Dallas has been her "knight in shining armor" throughout this whole time.

"He also has not slept since mid-May. I'm always telling him, 'You can sleep,' but he won't, he always helps," she said.

As for "Once Upon a Time" cast Ginnifer Goodwin's baby Oliver, she said: "He's grabbing things and really investigating them. He is in love with books. He holds them, he kicks his feet and gets excited when you read him a story."

Earlier, Josh Dallas talked about art imitating life and vice versa in an interview with TVGuide.

He said: "I have babies at home and babies at work. It is interesting. You can do the research on this, but I think we might be the first couple since Lucy and Desi [Arnaz] to be on a show together and be married and have a kid on the show at the same time. It's an interesting exercise as an actor to see what comes up in real life and using that in the script in the storytelling of 'Once Upon a Time.'"

An article by Inquistr cited how the show managed to promote breastfeeding without veering away too much from the plot.

In the second episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 4, Queen Elsa cut off the power lines accidentally. Mary Margaret rushed to restore electricity but snapped at Happy, who was complaining the whole time, and the rest of the dwarves.

"Look, I am not magic. I have had eight hours of sleep in the last week, I am breastfeeding and I am exhausted. I don't need this. I may have cast a little curse, but I did not ask to maintain a metropolitan electrical grid," she barked.
