Fans might remember that in the last episode, an unconscious Emily was caught in the fire started by Charlotte. Fortunately, Jack arrived just in time to save her.

Victoria also used David to go after Emily, not knowing that she's his daughter in the first place. But before he could complete the act, Nolan Ross saved the day when he fired a gun. A gun wouldn't have scared the battle-scarred David right off the bat, so fans are left wondering whether or not he recognized Emily.

According to the "Revenge" season 4, episode 4 spoilers, the wedge between Emily and David Clarke will only grow wider since the father is not the man his daughter remembers as a child. "I will say that it appears that David and Victoria have some sort of sadomasochist relationship," she said.

"I think they ended it very well last season, but I think that they feel there's much more to reveal and if the network will go with it, as they've somewhat promised, you're going to find that maybe what Emily believes to be true is not the whole truth," the actress said.
