The Tracy Morgan recovery update revealed that the comedian is now doing okay although still traumatized by the crash, as the "30 Rock" actor expressed elation over the "Top Five" movie.

Comedian Chris Rock shared Tracy Morgan recovery update to USA Today, as relayed by E! News, as he said that the "30 Rock" actor is still "traumatized" by the crash that occurred four months ago.

"He's OK. I saw him not too long ago. He doesn't live too far from me," he said.

Chris Rock also claimed that he showed Tracy Morgan a copy of the movie and "he was very happy."

"He's got physical therapists. There's a lot of rehab going on. He's traumatized-his friend died," the comedian added.

"Top Five" chronicles the story of Andre Allen (Chris Rock)who is described by LaughSpin as "a washed up stand-up whose fame and fortune have outlived his love for the craft."

News reports about the Tracy Morgan recovery update have been slow in coming although there's been plenty of speculations regarding the lawsuit he filed against Wal-Mart.

The Insurance News Net previously published a report after securing the opinion of lawyer Jennifer A. Burns of Carlson Meissner Hart & Hayslett, an accident and injury litigation expert.

She warned that Tracy Morgan's personal injury claims could be hampered by what is known as "comparative negligence" rule.

Sec. 768.81 of the 2014 Florida Statutes, states that, "in a negligence action, the court shall enter judgment against each party liable on the basis of such party's percentage of fault." This means the court will always weigh the extent of damages to be awarded according to mistakes committed prior to the incident.

In response to Tracy Morgan's lawsuit, Wal-Mart has blamed the comedian and his companions for their failure to wear seatbelts.
