Carrie Underwood Pregnant: 'Something In The Water' Singer Takes After Her Mom? Former American Idol Still In Awe She Now Has Baby Bump

Carrie Underwood is pregnant and is expected to give birth in spring, as the "Something in the Water" singer still couldn't believe that she now has a baby bump.

Guesting at "The View" on Monday, Carrie Underwood's pregnant belly could hardly be noticed beneath the blue long-sleeved lace dress she wore for the show. The dress had a belt at her waist "right above her tiny baby bump," said Us Weekly magazine.

During her guesting, she voiced out her worries about being a mom for the first time and has intimated to her husband, ice hockey player Mike Fisher, her concerns.

"Just being responsible for a tiny human. That's the hardest part," she said.

For now, the couple is still dealing with the reality that Carrie Underwood is pregnant.

"It's still kind of weird, to be honest. Sometimes I'll be with my husband and it's like, 'I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. Is this real life?'" the "Something in the Water" singer explained.

But the "American Idol" alum said that she won't have to go far for inspiration on how to raise her child.

"I have a wonderful mother so if I can be even a little bit like that, we'll be good," she said.

According to MailOnline, the news about Carrie Underwood being pregnant was announced by the couple in a tweet on Labor Day.

The "Sound of Music" star posted a photo of her with her two dogs Penny and Ace wearing shirts that say "I'm going to be a big sister," and, "I'm going to be a big brother."

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher started dating in 2008 after meeting when he went to see one of her concerts. They got engaged in December 2009. Six months later, they exchanged their vows at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Reynolds Plantation, Greensboro in Georgia with around 250 guests in attendance.
