‘The Bachelor’ Star Juan Pablo Galavais And Nikki Ferrell Reportedly Break Up After Writing Cryptic Messages On Instagram And Twitter

Looks like yet another couple from ABC's "The Bachelor" has called it quits.

Season 18's Juan Pablo Galavais and girlfriend Nikki Ferrell have reportedly broken up. Several sources allegedly confirmed the split to Us Weekly just one day after Ferrell unfollowed her beau on several social media sites and hinted at an end to the relationship with a cryptic Instagram message.

Ferrell posted a message on Instagram on Sunday that read:

"Isn't it pathetic how we waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they weren't even worth a second of it."

The 27-year-old captioned the photo, "Nope not one single second."

Galavais later tweeted a message that sounded suspiciously like a response to Ferrell's.

"Sometimes you WIN, sometimes you LOSE... You will ALWAYS learn..." wrote Galavais.

Rumors that Galavais and Ferrell were en route to breaking up have been circulating since the reality series' season 18 finale, during which Juan Pablo decided not to propose to winner Nikki nor to tell her that he loved her, despite the fact that she professed her love to him.

Galavais addressed break up rumors in an interview with PEOPLE in August, claiming that the pair was still happy together at the time.

"People are going to say what they want to say," he said. "I can't pay attention to that. I don't like to read what people write, because they don't know what our relationship is all about," said "The Bachelor" star, adding, "We're doing great. We're very happy together."

Now it appears that Juan Pablo and Nikki have truly split.

Chris Harrison, the host of "The Bachelor," discussed Juan Pablo in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, addressing backlash from fans who called Galavais the "worst Bachelor ever."

"The end goal of our show is to end up with a couple, and I felt like, wow after all of this, we did it -- we have a couple who loves each other -- but he just wouldn't give, and he just won't, and I don't know why," said Harrison. "I don't know where all the anger, and all the angst, or reservations come from, I don't know ... throughout it, I feel like he was his own worst enemy."
