Rita Ora Talks Calvin Harris Break Up! ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ Singer Says Distance Killed Their Relationship

Some romances just aren't meant to last.

Despite speculation that some serious drama was to blame for the end of Rita Ora and Calvin Harris's relationship earlier this year, the "I Will Never Let You Down" singer revealed in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan magazine that the culprit was actually distance.

"It was the right guy at the wrong time," Ora told Cosmopolitan magazine in reference to her break up with Harris. "I was about to start a tour, and he was also all over the place. There's only so much you can do when you don't see each other."

Ora admitted that handling a long-distance relationship with her former beau proved to be just too difficult.

"I really admire people who have long-distance relationships," she said. "It's an incredible achievement. I couldn't do it."

Harris announced that he and Ora had split via Twitter in June.

"To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best," the Scottish musician wrote on the social media site.

After the break up, the duo were in the press for alleged drama surrounding their working relationship. Ora reportedly revealed that Harris pulled the plug on her performance of "I Will Never Let You Down" at the Teen Choice Awards.

Harris, who produced the single, struck back at Ora on Twitter, saying that he preferred to keep such matters private and that he had a "damn good reason" for canceling the performance at the last minute.

Ora has moved on, however, and also told Cosmopolitan that she loved working with Iggy Azalea on the chart-topping single "Black Widow."

"As soon as I heard it, I was like, 'This is the f--king song,'" said Ora. "Katy Perry cowrote it - it felt nice to have all women involved."
