‘Sons of Anarchy’ Kurt Sutter Posts Gruesome Removed Appendix On Instagram After Appendicitis Operation; Assures His TV Show Must Go On

Sons of Anarchy director Kurt Sutter shocks followers on his social media page as he posts a picture of his removed appendix on Monday, TMZ reports. The writer is said to have been experiencing 'serious pains' and was rushed back to the hospital for the operation.

Without edits, a photo of a real appendix placed beside a ruler is posted on his Facebook and Instagram. It comes with a caption saying, "So apparently this needed to come out." To date, it has drawn in some 3,000 likes and various comments from followers.

"Jackass! Scared the hell out of me!" one follower said.

"Is that your appendix omg!!!! Hope you feel better!!! And hope to see more shows you create!!!"

"Prayers to you and your family. We are wishing you a speedy recovery."

However, the reports said that the 50-year old director is recuperating in the hospital since the operation. Further, TMZ assures that the director's operation will not hinder the completion of the ongoing seventh and final season of his show, Sons of Anarchy.

According to the Inquisitr, Sutter has been nostalgic in an interview with Entertainment Weekly considering that the show is about to end. He has made mention of the "brotherly relationship" with the actor Charlie Hunnam and the enthusiasm of the cast from the beginning until season 7.

"I'm in the mix of it most of the time putting everything together, so I think it hits me at times where I have the opportunity to slow down and take a look at it in the big picture. Most of the time, I'm in it incrementally, so it usually happens in situations like that where you're sort of hit with it all," he said.

With its first showing on September 9, Sons of Anarchy is set to have its finale on December 2
