The Making Of Mission Impossible 5: Tom Cruise Performs Death Defying Stunts; Holds On To The Moving Plane’s Propeller Using Only A Harness

Photos of the making of Mission Impossible 5 have recently been seen in news sites with the 52-year old Tom Cruise never losing thrill and vitality to perform his signature death defying stunts in Stamford, Lincolnshire, Express UK said. On Sunday, the actor is seen busy filming a fighting scene in an Airbus A400M Atlas military transporter wherein he is agreed to get hold of the plane's propeller while it flies for at least 250 mph.

Reports further said that his staff has presented other options for  the Top Gun actor not to perform the stunt on his own but he insisted to do it using a harness as his only device to successfully attach himself on the plane.

Sources who have witnessed the scene get amazed with the award-winning actor's bravery.

"It's easily the most outrageous stunt Tom has ever done. When it was all over, the crew were clapping and cheering!" a source said.

In an earlier interview in the Graham Norton Show in December, the action star talks about these stunts saying, "I'm able to do them. I've trained for 30 years doing things like that."

Meanwhile, more recent pictures captured by the Daily Mail show the actor above a stationary plane. This time, the crew is making sure that Cruise who plays Ethan Hunt in the movie will be left out from danger. Instead, they will be using camera tricks to make it look like the plane is flying in high altitude.

In the scene, Ethan Hunt is engage in a fight scene with a helicopter hovering above him. In the film's making, there are times when the Knight and Day actor struggles with the air pressure caused by the helicopter but still managed to maintain composure all throughout.

Meanwhile, the movie director Chris McQuarrie admits that torrential rains in the area have posed as challenge in the filming of the scenes in the British landscape. Further, he revealed that Tom's death-defying stunts still made him feel nervous for the actor.
