Kelly Rowland is officially a mom!

The 33-year-old singer and her husband Tim Witherspoon welcomed their first child, a son, on Tuesday, Nov. 4. And the couple has given their baby boy a particularly strong name: Titan Jewell Witherspoon!

The baby was born at 1:30 p.m. PT and weighed in at 7.5 lbs.

"We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son," Rowland said in a statement to PEOPLE.

"We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!" added the former Destiny Child star.

Rowland hinted at the name of her baby boy in August at the VMAs.

"The dad picked out the name. It has to do with family," she said, while shining in a gown that showed off her growing baby bump.

The "Motivation" songstress gushed to Elle magazine about becoming a mother in the publication's October issue.  

"I'm excited to bring a child into the world," said Rowland. "Sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part."

When asked how she plans to handle being a "celebrity mom," the star told the mag that she intends to take things one day at a time.

"I just plan to play it by ear. Everybody has their normal," she said.

"Sometimes, award shows are part of that," said the singer. "I have girlfriends who have that experience, and they'll say, 'You know, I just really didn't want to be without my child today.' And it's just that simple. It's about finding your normal, whatever that may be."

Rowland also posed in several semi-nude photos for the magazine while pregnant, putting her bare baby bump on display in the elegant shots.

She revealed that she wanted to take the photos because of her belief that "the body should be celebrated."

Now that little Titan has been born, Kelly will have her hands full with her two men: her baby and her husband Tim.

"When the baby gets here, it's not just one baby. I have two babies now. My husband and the baby - you have to take care of both," she joked to PEOPLE in September.
