Could Ellie Goulding and musician boyfriend Dougie Poynter soon be saying 'I do'?

Rumors that the couple are engaged began to circulate when the "Anything Could Happen" singer was spotted with a sparkler on her ring finger at the Alexander Wang X H&M VIP launch party in London on Wednesday.

Dressed in a casual outfit of grey leggings, a black top, and black coat, the diamond ring on her third finger drew the attention of waiting photographers.

According to the Daily Mail, Goulding was seen wearing the ring again on Thursday at an event for Diane von Furstenberg's new coffee table book, "Journey Of A Dress."

Neither Goulding, 27, nor Poynter, 26, has confirmed the engagement rumor. The couple has reportedly been dating for about a year and appear to be quite serious.

Poynter, a member of the popular British band McFly (which recently teamed up with the band Busted to form supergroup McBusted), talked to The Mail on Sunday about his relationship with Goulding in March.

"We've been seeing each other since last year. Ellie's a great girl, such a lovely person and a breath of fresh air in this industry," he told the publication. "In the music industry you always bump into the same people, so it's nice when you get to meet other musicians you like and want to spend time with."

Goulding dished on the romance during an interview with Self magazine in June.

"I've definitely met someone," she explained. "You get to know someone who makes you very happy and then you go away [on tour], right when it was just getting somewhere awesome. It's not fun, but we can make it work."

"Love is beyond everything, beyond the universe," added the "Burn" singer.

Goulding formerly dated actor Jeremy Irvine, producer Skrillex, and radio host Greg James. She has also been previously linked to fellow British singer Ed Sheeran and One Direction's Niall Horan.
