Ariana Grande insists she's not a diva.

In the wake of rumors that the 21-year-old songstress has been difficult to work with and been rude to fans, Grande spoke to InStyle magazine to set the record straight.

While doing an interview for the magazine's December issue (which hit stands on Nov. 14), Grande addressed a report that she had once said she hoped her fans would "f---ing die."  

"That one had me laughing hysterically," said the "Break Free" singer. "Because anyone who knows me or has done any homework at all knows that I would literally give a limb for my fans."

The young star, who got her first big break on the Nickelodeon series "Victorious," expressed her frustration over the scrutiny that comes along with fame.

"I never expected to be in a position where so many people are invested in every little thing I say and so," she explained. "Part of me wants to say, 'Oh my god, that's so not me! Please don't believe that!'"

The public has recently become even more interested in Grande's personal life as the pop sensation began dating 26-year-old rapper Big Sean.

"He is one of the most amazing men in the world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother," Grande recently told the Telegraph of her beau, going public with their romance.

Grande admitted to InStyle that she's not yet sure how she feels about letting the world know about her relationship.

"I have conflicting feelings about it," she confessed. "On the one hand, I feel like I'm growing up and realize my life is my life and some things don't need to be shared. But I'm very spur-of-the-moment, very open with my fans. And if there's a cute pic I like that's a little personal and I want to share it, maybe I will."
