Liv Tyler On Pregnancy With Baby No. 2: ‘You’re More Present In Your Body’

Being pregnant with her second child is a dream come true for Liv Tyler.

The 37-year-old actress, who currently stars on HBO's "The Leftovers," recently revealed how she is feeling now that she's expecting a baby with her boyfriend Dave Gardner. And according to Tyler, the change in her personal life unexpectedly synced up with new opportunities in her career.

"It's fun not being on a diet or thinking, 'Oh my god, I have to go to SoulCycle every day," Tyler told Town & Country magazine, referring to her pregnancy.

"The most fun thing about being pregnant again is having those mom hormones flowing around," she added. "You're more present in your body, and it's making me a better mother for Milo."

Tyler reportedly met her boyfriend, Dave Gardner, when mutual friend Kate Moss set them up. Gardner is a British sports agent who counts David Beckham as his best friend.

Now Tyler, who shares 9-year-old son Milo with former husband Royston Langdon, is experiencing several exciting new changes in her life.

"I mean, for seven years I'd been saying I wanted to do an HBO show with an ensemble cast. And I wanted a house in the country. And getting to have another child? If you knew me well, they were the things my heart longed for. And they all came together, like a speeding freight train, in one year," explained Tyler.

When the writer of the article asked the "Lord of the Rings" star if she would share any details about her relationship with Gardner, Tyler playfully replied, "If we were girlfriends I would."

According to E! News, Tyler said earlier this year that she no longer believed in "happily ever after" when it comes to romance. However, when Town & Country brought up that quote, Tyler confessed that her opinion on the subject has shifted.

"That was months ago," said the actress. "It's funny how things change."
