Meanwhile, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend Eleanor Calder has been plagued with accusations on her Instagram, with some 1D fans claiming that she is Louis' "beard" and covering up a "Larry" relationship.

According to Digital Spy, Louis Tomlinson took to Twitter to refute an article published by The Independent on November 10, directly tweeting to the writer.

"The fact that you work for such a 'credible' paper and you would talk such rubbish is laughable. I am in fact straight," he tweeted.

"Google 'original apple logo' and you will see the one printed on my shirt that you reported on. Trying to look for a promotion?" the One Direction singer added.

"F**king ridiculous I even have to tweet that s**t!"

Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend Eleanor Calder has been bombarded with comments on her Instagram photos, with One Direction fans calling her Louis' "beard" (a slang term referring to a significant other who is covering up the real sexual orientation of their partner) and claiming that Louis is actually having a relationship with One Direction bandmate Harry Styles, using the term "Larry."

"She's a beard," one Instagram user commented on Eleanor's most recent photo with Louis.

"I just really believe in Larry," another wrote.

Another added: "LARRY IS REAL !"
