'T-ARA Crisis', Successful Noise Marketing?

With T-ARA's comeback to the music scene, have they succeeded in noise marketing?

After the removal of member Hwayoung, T-ARA received much hate and criticism from the public, so much so that member Eunjung was removed from her drama role and created much controversy. They have just released their music video and have been gaining many views online. The music industry wonders if the 'crisis' was created in order to gain "noise marketing" for the group.

T-ARA has just released their "Sexy Love" music video as well as 4 different versions on YouTube and reached over 200,000 views.

It seems as if Core Contents Media has gone all out in advertising T-ARA's new song. Core Contents Media stated, "We have released the 'Sexy Love'teaser, drama, dance and making versions as well as the 'Day and Night' ballad on YouTube and other music sites and have reached over 200,000 views."

When asked about the high number of views, they commented, "We think that rather than their popularity, more people are clicking just because they are curious. T-ARA has forgotten about their past popularity and going back to the beginning. They are going to work very hard as if they were a rookie group."
