Justin Bieber's agency commented that Psy will be the first Korean artist to succeed in the U.S.

Today on YG Entertainment's official blog, a picture of Psy and Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun was revealed. The picture revealed that the two had signed a contract for Psy to join their agency.

Braun commented, "I hung out with Psy for the past 4 days. We've become friends and we've both agreed to make him the first Korean artist to succeed in the U.S."

He continued, "We wanted to show everyone that this is a moment in history where Korea and the U.S. come together through music."

Braun continued to talk about Psy introducing him to korean alcohol called 'soju'. He added, "This could end in one of two ways. One is that he becomes a successful artist in America or two, I drink this alcohol and everything ends."

He ended with, "Let's bring down the wall for the sake of Korea's future." Psy responded with, "Thank you."

Psy signed with Island Records, who also has Bieber, Mariah Carey, Elton John, Bon Jovi and others in the agency.

Psy also has been invited to the MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. on September 6.
