INFINITE Japan Promotions, 'Gains 3 Times More Fans Than Last Year'

Idol group INFINITE has been growing amidst the 'Dokdo crisis'.

Today, Japanese media reported that INFINITE's 3rd single event on September 2 was a huge success with 10,000 fans.

At this event, 3,000 fans who bought an album were invited to this event. However, despite the bad weather, 10,000 fans came out to support them, which was 3 times the original number.

One local media commented, "Although the 'Dokdo crisis' is going around, I don't think it will affect the K-Pop music scene. Fans at the event commented, "I don't care if the members think that Dokdo is Korea's. Plus, when it comes to the interaction between the groups and the fans, Dokdo has nothing to do with it."

Many other medias have been talking about the decrease in popularity for K-Pop music, however INFINITE has gained more fans than last year. In comparison to the 3,000 fans that came to their concert last year, they have gained 3 times as much this year.
