It has been revealed that KBS, MBC and SBS have a total of 1,378 banned songs from the last three years.

When comparing the three, MBC had the most number of banned songs with 868.

KBS was next with 630 and SBS third with 527.

After taking out the duplicate banned songs from the three companies, a total of 1,378 songs were banned.

1,190 songs were banned due to curse words and profanity, 263 for suggestive content, 218 for indirect advertising and 63 for negative portrayal of the handicapped.

However, because each company has their own way of regulating songs, 207 of the banned songs were banned by all three of the companies.

One song that all three companies banned was Leessang's "I Turned off the TV."
