Those wondering if Jennifer Aniston is married to Justin Theoroux must be aware that the couple is not a fan of rushing into things. While the "Wanderlust" actor proposed to the 45-year-old actress two years ago, no wedding date has been set yet.

This does not appear to be a problem for the "We're the Millers" actress. In a recent interview with British magazine Look, she talked about her preference for staying independent.

"I'm self-sufficient and independent, sometimes to a fault. But I would rather be like that than helpless. It's survival, in a way. Growing up, I never wanted to be the kind of woman who needed a man to fulfill [me], although I've had wonderful relationships with men in my life," she said.

Brad Pitt's ex-wife also believes that having a partner does not mean that one should compromise his or her individuality: "Being partners with someone doesn't mean either person has to give up their independence or hide their true nature. You're happiest when you're with someone with whom you can be yourself and also feel very supported and loved."

She also finds herself confused with how people react to Jennifer Aniston married to Justin Theroux rumors.

"I can't really explain why there seems to be this obsession in the press when it comes to my personal life and the constant reports about me being pregnant. I just try to pay as little attention as I can and life my life. Things will happen at the right time," she told the publication.

"It's all about living your life and not being distracted by anything that's being said about you. You need to enjoy everything that's good and be grateful to have found each other," she added.

It was previously reported that Aniston's friends, Chelsea Handler and Demi Moore, are worried that Theroux might not settle down with the blonde beauty considering his former relationship.

The "Zoolander" actor was in a 14-year-relationship with stylist Heidi Bivens but Theoroux allegedly kept on dismissing the idea of marriage.
