Proud Dad Jason Sudeikis Chats About Baby Otis, Reveals He And Olivia Wilde Named Their Son After A Music Legend

Jason Sudeikis couldn't help but gush over his son Otis during an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

When the 39-year-old "Horrible Bosses 2" actor stopped by the NBC talk show on Thursday, he brought along several adorable pictures of the baby boy he and fiancée Olivia Wilde welcomed on April 20th this year.

As host DeGeneres cooed over the first sweet photo of little Otis, Jason called his son's cute face "ridiculous." "That's his mom's doing-the majority of it," said Sudeikis with a proud grin.

The actor and SNL alum revealed that he and his wife-to-be named their son after music legend Otis Redding. He also admitted that the decision was Olivia's idea.

"She's been a fan of Otis Redding since she was a little girl. So she's been cool forever, obviously. Yeah, and I was like that sounds great," explained Sudeikis.

The star also shared a photo of Wilde holding baby Otis on a subway platform in New York City.

"Little subway baby. We don't care what diseases he gets," joked Jason.

Earlier this week, Sudeikis talked about the day Olivia gave birth to their son. According to the star, the baby's arrival actually messed up the couple's brunch plans.

During an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman," Sudeikis revealed that he and Wilde went to their doctor's office for a check-up when their physician told them, "You're gonna have this baby today."

According to the comedian, his first thought was, "What about brunch?"

Of course, things ended up working out and Sudeikis grabbed a bite at Taco Bell while waiting for Olivia to give birth to their little one.

Ha. Glad it turned out well.
