"The Originals" season 2, episode 8 spoilers reveal that Rebekah will return just in time to help stave off a bloodshed. Meanwhile, there could be a heartwarming family reunion between Klaus and his father.

"Rebekah, who has spent months away living a normal life with baby Hope, finds herself on the run when she realizes Esther (Sonja Sohn) has uncovered her whereabouts," according to the synopsis.

Joseph Morgan teased "The Originals" season 2, episode 8 spoilers to TV Line as he said that Rebekah's return will come with "great levity."

Also, Joseph Morgan hinted of a heartwarming reunion between Klaus and his father.

"It's interesting because he's just become a father as well so it's sort of perfect timing for his dad to turn up now and that's why his mother brought him back, I think, because she thinks if anyone can convince Klaus to renounce his vampirism and to be put into a different body, you know to be a better person, then it's his father, the person he always felt that's lacking in his life, somebody who can provide the attention that he craved," he said.

"Klaus' father by the way isn't sort of trying to be a part of any scheme or plan, he genuinely wants to connect with his son and form a relationship with him but we just have to see if there's a part of Klaus that's capable of that... I think there's potential because having a child, he's changed to a certain extent," Joseph Morgan added.
