Katherine Heigl News.  State of Affairs actress continues to held her head high weeks after rumors have circulated reporting that she is rude. In the The Meredith Vieira Show, the actress answered how she confronts this question thrown by a fan in a recent Facebook Q and A, E! Online reports.

"What I loved about the Facebook Q&A is that I could take my time and I realized that I like to talk a lot and I will type out the longest lengthiest answers, so I only answered 10 questions in two hours,  but I think I said, 'Of course, I've heard that too and I'm not.' And you know what, I've been saying 'I don't think I am,' but i'm going to be really honest right now. I'm not," she openly said in the show.

This is in response to grave remarks said by Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes, in an earlier interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Rhimes, According to the Daily Mail, does not want Heigl, a former Grey's Anatomy cast to participate in any of her shows anymore.

Further, in the show, Katherine said, "I don't have to think about it. I'm not a rude person. I'm not an unkind or mean person. I would never go out of my way or consciously try to hurt anyone's feelings or make them feel bad or uncomfortable. I like my job. I  will continue to stand up for myself and I'm never going to stop standing up for my right to be heard, my right to be treated respectfully and professionally in return, my right to draw boundaries. I am a strong woman and I'm not going to apologize for that and I'm not going to on behalf of my daughters-and I'm not going to on behalf of all of you sitting in the audience."

In another show on Saturday last week, Heigl and her co-cast attended another Q&A session at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation Center in Los Angeles in promoting their new show. The event was moderated by Buzzfeed's Jarett Wieselman, the Daily Mail said.

She later posted a shoutout about the event on her Instagram saying, "Thank u @SAGfoundation. Q&A with my amazing @nbcstateofaffairs cast mates!"
