Not all friendships are built to last.

Demi Lovato recently revealed that she and former pal Miley Cyrus are no longer friends. In an interview with "The TJ Show" on Boston's 103.3 AMP Radio, Lovato answered a fan question about her relationship the "Wrecking Ball" songstress.

"Um...yeah...that, um...we're, we're like... We're acquaintances," said Lovato.

The 22-year-old "Really Don't Care" singer and Cyrus both shot to stardom after being cast in lead roles on the Disney Channel. The pair has publicly acknowledged their friendship for years, but it appears that the hitmakers have drifted apart.

"It's life, and people change," said Lovato.

"I don't have anything in common with her anymore," she continued. "I wish her the best."

Demi once dated Miley's older brother Trace Cyrus, though the ladies reportedly maintained their friendship long after Demi and Trace had split.

In a 2013 appearance on NBC's "Katie", Lovato discussed the "We Can't Stop" singer's evolution into a more "mature" artist with an increasingly sexualized image.

"I think she knows what she's doing," Lovato told the talk show's host Katie Couric. "A lot of artists take that route of shock value. And that's totally fine. And that's great. But I think she has such an incredible voice that's overshadowed by some of the things that she's doing. And it's her journey. She's having fun. She's being who she is. And we'll always love her. She's been one of my friends since I was like fourteen. But everyone's on their different journeys right now and she's doing that. And she's having fun. So, you know, power to her."

Earlier this year, Lovato also revealed that she is no longer friends with longtime BFF Selena Gomez, another former Disney star.

"I think it's just one of those things where people change and people grow apart," Lovato said on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" in August. Lovato addressed the topic after she stopped following Gomez on social media.
