Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green escaped unscathed after they were sideswiped by drunk driver near Mulholland Driver on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the actress' return for the sequel of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is reportedly not yet in place.

The TMZ reported that Brian Austin Green was driving his Range Rover at around 9:30 p.m. with Megan Fox in the passenger seat when the collision occurred.

"A Mini Cooper going in the opposite direction crossed over the yellow line and somewhat violently sideswiped them ... enough to blow a tire. The Mini Cooper spun around and eventually stopped," it said.

"The Wedding Band" actor then called police officers who arrived at the scene to arrest the driver of the Mini Cooper. Sources told the gossip news site that the 35-year-old suspect was twice the legal limit for alcohol.

Per report, Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green did not suffer injuries from the said incident.

Meanwhile, the planned "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" by Paramount, Platinum Dunes and Nickelodeon reportedly has a director in Dave Green, who also directed "Earth to Echo."

The sequel will be written by Josh Applebaum, who also penned the first movie, and Andre Nemec will be executive producing. The sequel for the live action movie is scheduled to air on June 3, 2016.

 "Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the first film left the door open for Megan Fox and Will Arnett to return alongside our reptilian heroes in a half shell - Leonardo (Pete Ploszek), Raphael (Alan Ritchson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher) and Donatello (Jeremy Howard)," according to The Wrap.

Although panned by critics, the first movie was a big hit as it gross almost $500 million in the box-office worldwide. The profit ensured that there's going to be "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" although Megan Fox has not announced her involvement just yet.

Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green have three children, Noah Shannon and Bodhi Ransom.
