Mimi Faust And Nikko Smith Sex Video Scandal Receives AVN Awards Nomination For Best Celebrity Sex Tape! ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Stars Making ‘Threesome’ Sequel?

The highly controversial sex video scandal of Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith is now being recognized by AVN - an awards giving body created by Adult Video News magazine solely dedicated to give recognition to pornographic movies, popularly known as the "Oscars of porn."

"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" reality star is being nominated in the "Best Celebrity Sex Tape" category - the first year that this category has been added in the AVN, as reported by The Boom Box.

Faust, 44, is nominated along with Tila Tequila, Farrah Abraham (Teen Mom), Tami Erin (Pippi Longstocking) and Myla Sinanaj.

Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith's "amateur" sex video was first released on April 21, 2014 by adult film company Vivid Entertainment.

Steve Hirsch, the company's founder, once admitted that he didn't even know how popular Faust and Smith are when he was approached with the video, but upon doing some research he immediately decided to put out the video.

"We were approached by a third party to release the tape," he revealed. "I wasn't familiar with Mimi and Nikko or 'Love & Hip Hop.' After doing some research, I realized just how big both the show and the tape could be. It was a struggle to ultimately get the deal done but we did."

Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith sex video scandal earned a jaw dropping $400,000 during its pre-sale on April 21, according to TMZ. Vivid averaged 15 new members by the minute when it was released.

With the popularity the sex video has gained over the year, it's been long rumored that a sequel is in the works.

Word has it that "Love & Hip Hop and Atlanta" stars are actually in development of new love making video that involves a third person - "threesome sequel."

MediaTakeOut, first reported that Nikko Smith allegedly asked Promise B. Mae to join him and Mimi Faust in making another sex video and promised her a large amount of money in Instagram.

"Hey pretty lady, what if i told you that mimi and myself had a talk about another sex tape with you having fun with us it's some serious money involved."

However, the gossip publication has soon removed the news claiming that Smith's rep came to them saying that the person spreading those rumors are lying.

In addition, Promise B. Mae also vehemently denied the rumors claiming that she has no interest whatsoever in participating with alleged Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith sex video scandal sequel.

Furthermore, with Faust and Smith's relationship down the drain, it seems impossible for the duo to make a sex video sequel despite gaining popularity and of course money in the original one.

The relationship of the two "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" stars reportedly went sour when news of Smith secretly married to someone else broke. Apparently, Faust did not believe the rumors at first until she discovered something.

"He just so happened to accidentally call my phone and he was with her, and I heard the whole conversation," Mimi said. "She did say, 'The only reason I'm seeing someone else is because you left me to go down to Atlanta to be with her for some money.' My blood was boiling."

Faust ended the relationship and she then admitted that Smith just "used" her to gain success.

"I think he used me to get to where he wanted to be. I think he wanted to get his music out; he wanted to get his brand out there; he wanted to get himself out there and I was the platform to get him to where he wanted to be," she admitted.

Do you think Mimi Faust's mind would change if she wins in the upcoming 2014 AVN Awards that's about to take place on January 24, 2015 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas? Will she take Nikko Smith back and make the long rumored sex video sequel? Sound off in the comments section below.
