Is Katie Holmes dating Orlando Bloom to get back at ex-husband Tom Cruise?

Apparently, the former "Dawson's Creek" star is not happy with how things are going between the father of her eight-year-old daughter and its new love interest, Miranda Kerr.

According to the notorious gossip publication The National Enquirer, Holmes, 35, strongly believes that Cruise, 52, violated their agreement of keeping their dating lives out of public's eyes after news of Kerr and Cruise "flirting" on the set of his movie "Mission Impossible 5" spread.

She "feels hurt and betrayed," the alleged source close to Holmes told the publication.

Adding that, "Katie was enraged" and "she feels Tom is violating their promise."

Suri's mom refused to take things sitting down as the tabloid reported that is determined to get back at "Mission Impossible" star that she had invited Kerr's ex-husband "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom for dinner and drinks.

"There were sparks between them, and Katie's interested in sticking it to Tom," said the source of the tabloid. "And if a hookup comes out of it, that's a bonus!"

However, according to The National Enquirer, Tom Cruise is dating Miranda Kerr just to piss off his ex-wife Katie Holmes. He's the one who is actually getting back at Holmes because of her "secret affair" with his pal Jamie Foxx.

Things are really looking ugly if all or even any of these hullabaloos are real.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop, known to have "busted" a number of fabricated stories by The National Enquirer claims that none of these rumors are true. Apparently, a representative of "The Giver" actress told the online publication that Enquirer's claims that Katie Holmes is dating Orlando Bloom because Tom Cruise is dating Miranda Kerr are "all lies."
