Chris Brown has shifted gear and turned on the charm in wooing back ex girlfriend Karrueche Tran, as the model showed just what the "X" singer is missing when she put on a skimpy bikini on Miami beach on Monday.

"Chris has been turning on the charm to Karrueche's family extra thick these past few days. Chris is trying to score major brownie points. He's trying to switch the game up on Karrueche big time and he thinks he knows the way to her heart, and it's with food," a source told Hollywood Life.

In order to win back Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown has been practicing cooking Vietamese food.

"He knows she loves Vietnamese food and he wants to cook Pho for her. He wants her to know that he actually took the time to cut the veggies, steam the rice, and roast the beef. He's doing everything himself because he knows he messed up," the insider added.

The insider said that Chris Brown is really sincere in winning back Karrueche Tran and that's why he's putting on all this effort "and make her understand how truly sorry he is and how he wants to make their relationship work like it always has."

Meanwhile, photos from MailOnline showed Karrueche Tran's slim frame as she rocked a white bikini.

"Karrueche's long dark hair flowed in the wind as she playfully dipped her toes in the sea before heading back to the warm sand for some sun tanning," the British tabloid said. "Once on a beach recliner she stripped off her top to reveal a bikini top with the words 'Taco Bae' written across her chest."

Earlier, in an Instagram post, Chris Brown threw shade at ex Karrueche Tran as he wrote: "We've got scars, some of them u gave me, some of them I've caused. That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain't working. I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!

Chris Brown added more on the Karrueche Tran tirdae: "When this relationship first started u knew what it was and even participated in threesomes. I slowed all that shit down. So let's not try to save face for public opinion because I don't need to play victim so people can take my side. All these celebrity n***as ain't shit and focus only on themselves.
