"The Fault in our Stars" actress Shailene Woodley's diet was revealed as Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend's pixie haircut reportedly helped catapult her to stardom.

Shailene Woodley, who described herself as a hippie, has totally bought into the Bulletproof Diet, which is being promoted by Dave Asprey who wrote a book of the same title.

"I start almost every day with something called Bulletproof Coffee," the "Divergent" star said.

The coffee is composed of low-mold coffee beans, grass-fed, unsalted butter and so-called Brain Octane Oil, which is a coconut oil extract," said People.

The author said that Bulletproof coffee is actually the secret to some celebrities' weight loss regimen.

"You will have no interest in food for four to six hours. It makes your brain work better because you are not distracted every time you see a cookie lying around. You don't even think about food," he told the magazine.

The Bulletproof diet, according to the author, is "fat-focused. "That means filling up on lots of fats - like ones found in butter and guacamole - plus veggies and grass-fed proteins," the article noted.

Meanwhile, MTV has credited the "The Fault in our Stars" actress for cutting off her locks for the film that launched her to stardom.

"Shailene Woodley isn't the first starlet to score a role that required a drastic haircut," MTV said. "But when the actress lopped off 90% of her hair this year, it was the chop heard 'round the world."

But Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend's decision to cut her hair was a creative one since she played Hazel Lancaster, a cancer patient, in "The Fault in our Stars."

"It was still a very big deal when the time came for her to go under the knife- er, scissors. Shai's short new 'do was practically front-page news for a solid week before and after the cut, and not just because she shed some very real tears as her long, long locks were snipped away," the website said.
