Dakota Johnson stepped out of New York City with her boyfriend Matthew Hitt in matching ensemble. Meanwhile, the actress' "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie trailer becomes YouTube's most watched in 2014.

The MailOnline published snaps of Dakota Johnson and boyfriend Matthew Hitt on Thursday as they took on the sights of NYC while wearing matching black outfits.

"The 'Five-Year Engagement' actress teamed her fur-trimmed leather jacket with black leggings and ankle boots," it said. "Her other half smartened up in a midnight black coat and matching trousers."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer had the hottest start with almost 60 million views in five days.

"But ultimately it was 'Fifty Shades of Grey's' four-month head start that proved decisive in the race to be the most viewed trailer of 2014," it said. "The 'Fifty Shades' trailer recorded 93 million YouTube views since its release on July 24 to become the most watched preview of the year, according to Zefr, a YouTube data and marketing company."

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" is one of the most anticipated films of 2015 because of the BDSM theme and the fact that the book sold more than 100 million copies.

But Dakota Johnson's mother, Melanie Griffith, has already said that she's not watching the movie at the request of her daughter.

The TMZ chanced upon the former "Body Double" star while stepping out of Madeo on Tuesday night.

"I was wondering are you interested in seeing the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie," the cameraman asked her. "Will you be seeing it?"

"No, I will not be seeing it," the 57-year-old actress said. "Well because my daughter doesn't want me to, and I don't think it would be appropriate"

Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson's boyfriend Matthew Hitt has not really reacted on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie and Anastasia Steele's anticipated sex scenes with Christian Grey.
