Girl group Brown Eyed Girls' Narsha is gaining attention with her pure Korean name.

On Tuesday which was Korean (Hangeul) day, Narsha reveled on twitter saying, "I'm so proud of my name today. By the way, the manager who gave me this name, you're doing fine somewhere right? Thank you again." The meaning of Narsha meant 'Flying Up' in pure Korean characters.

Internet users and fans have responded saying, "Narsha wasn't English name?" "I had no idea that it was Korean," and "Wow, such a twist."

Narsha is appearing as Moosan, goddess of love, in KBS Monday-Tuesday drama "Ohlala Couple."
