'Love & Hip Hop New York' Star Erica Mena Talks About Engagement With Bow Wow & Her 'Intense' Breakup With Co-star Cyn Santana

"Love & Hip Hop New York' star Erica Mena's engagement with Bow Wow came as a surprise to the show's fans.

In fact, many did not even think that she was already dating the 27-year-old rapper, since her relationship with now ex-partner Cyn Santana is very public.

And in the upcoming episodes of "Love & Hip Hop New York," the 27-year-old reality star revealed to "Pix 11" that viewers of the show will definitely see the "intense" breakup between her and Santana.

"It gets intense. It's crazy because people really didn't believe me and Cyn's relationship and now people are so invested in it. It's kinda sad for the fans. From one minute to the next you guys are gonna see us really unfold and break."

While, wedding bells are waiting for Mena and Bow Wow their surprise engagement is gaining criticism from the public. Talk show host Wendy Williams once said that the couple would split up before their April wedding. Mena, however did not take this sitting down as she claims that the host also made the same remarks to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who actually got married on May.

"It comes with the territory. They do the same thing with all my relationships. I don't think people really understand that. With this one, this is a serious commitment. I'm at a point in my life that this is definitely the one. It's settle down time."

"Love & Hip Hop New York" star Erica Mena said that she knows Bow Wow is "the one" because he's the only guy who loved her for who she really is, nothing that she has experienced with her relationships in the past.

"It's completely liberating," she admitted.

Meanwhile, Cyn Santana was stopped by VH1's team in New York where the "Love & Hip Hop" star was asked to give a comment about her ex-partner's engagement with Bow Wow, to which she replied.

"God bless them, God bless them!" The she explained that things between her and Mena happened "randomly" and for "some people, when you're not benefitting from one person, you have to benefit from another." The ending the conversation with a positive note saying, "Life goes on, for me, at least."
