Psy drew attention after posting up a set of numbers that resembled a password for something on his personal Twitter page.

To clear up the confusion, the numbers in Psy's Tweet represent the ranking of "Gangnam Style" on the US Billboard Single Chart in the past five weeks.

Yesterday (October 10), Psy posted, "64-11-2-2-?" on his personal Twitter page. The post was updated before today, the day the new Billboard Hot 100 Music Chart is to be revealed. Psy's Twitter post revealed that he was hoping, as well as the rest of the Koreans, to be the first Korean artist to place number 1 on the main US Billboard Music Chart.

However, the outcome was number 2. Maroon 5 maintained their spot at number 1 for the 3rd week. Although his fans were disappointed, they all applauded Psy regardless of the results.

Psy has recently become a global sensation with his song, "Gangnam Style." He has ranked number 1 on iTunes in 30 countries and has ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard main single chart HOT 100.

He has also reached 400 million views on YouTube with his music video for "Gangnam Style."

He has appeared on many shows such as the "Ellen Show" and "SNL" and was featured on news programs such as NBC and CNN.

He has also recently signed a contract with Justin Bieber's agency and plans to release his first U.S. single sometime in November.
