IU clarified her future in acting after recent reports claim she will be acting soon.

IU recently posted on her official fan cafe, refuting past statements about her acting in the future.

IU stated, "Many articles are being released about my future in acting, but I have not confirmed anything nor has my company. Most of the articles are rumors, so no one should listen to what has been said."

She carried on to say, "I am not keeping anything away from the public or trying to be cautious, but there is really nothing planned for the future at this point."

IU has previously acted in the past. Her most notable role was Kim Pil Suk in "Dream High" alongside, miss A's Suzy, 2PM's Wooyoung and Taecyeon, T-ARA's Eunjung, actor Kim Soo Hyun.

Although, there are no plans for IU to return to acting, many fans hope to see her return to acting in the near future.
