Did Chris Brown diss Rihanna in order to win back Karrueche Tran's heart?

According to Hollywood Life, Chris Brown allegedly tried to win back on-again off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran before the New Year began, during which he promised never to compare her to Rihanna.

"Chris told Karrueche, 'Bae, I'm about to man up. You've stolen my heart and no woman has ever treated me the way you have. No one, not even any of my exes compare to you. You're my queen,'" said a source to Hollywood Life.

"Chris also apologized to Karrueche, specifically for comparing her to Rihanna and lying about her and Drake dating."

"He was like, 'I don't know what I was thinking by saying that sh*t. Rihanna is nothing compared to you. You see I'm with you. I will never, ever compare you to her as long as I live. She doesn't even exist to me. You are my everything. Everything I am and have is because of you.'"

And while this may be seen as a diss to Rihanna, the publication also says Rihanna no longer cares about Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran.

"Rihanna isn't paying any attention to Chris," the insider said. "Look, if that's what it takes for him to make his girlfriend, Karrueche, feel some type of way, by all means, he should go for it. Rihanna doesn't care if Chris uses her if it helps make him happy."

"Rihanna has put her feelings behind her. He doesn't have the same effect on her that he used to have. She doesn't' have any feelings for him."

Perhaps Rihanna is busy navigating the pregnancy rumors which swirled between her and former boyfriend Drake, after MediaTakeOut claimed that two sources confirmed the news.

"The report notes that Rihanna is 'extremely happy about having a baby.' It is said that she found out that she is pregnant only a 'few days ago.' As disclosed by one of their unnamed sources, the song talks about the 'baby growing inside me.' Furthermore, during her rumoured pregnancy, Rihanna is taking some precautions. She has reportedly 'banned all weed smoking inside the studio' while she is working on her music," reported International Business Times.
