"KUWTK" star Khloe Kardashian posted a throwback photo with "perfect boy" Rob Kardashian, who stayed out of the limelight following his weight gain.

The British tabloid, MailOnline noted that 2014 wasn't a great year for both "KUWTK" stars Rob and Khloe Kardashian.

"While Khloe, 30, is still coming to terms with the end of her marriage to Lamar Odom and her failed relationship with French Montana, Rob, 27, has completely removed himself from the spotlight as his weight ballooned out of control," it said.

But Khloe Kardashian has always been there for the sock designer and even took him into her Calabasas mansion, which she bought from Justin Bieber, when everybody in the family allegedly shunned Rob Kardashian over his weight gain.

In an Instagram post, Khloe Kardashian shared a black and white photo of her and Rob when they were still kids. The photo shows Lamar Odom's ex putting her arm around her brother's chest to pull him toward her in a hug. She then captioned the photo:

"I brought in the New Year with my best friend in the entire world @robkardashian! We just finished watching Gone Girl at home! The perfect way to start off the year with my perfect boy. Gone Girl was one CRAZY ass movie! Definitely a must see! Stay safe out there!!! Xo."

Previously, it was reported that "KUWTK" star Khloe Kardashian kicked her younger brother out of the house because Rob Kardashian wasn't doing anything to shed off his weight gain. The rumor was quickly shot down by Lamar Odom's ex.

Rob Kardashian has reportedly battled with fat since breaking up with Adrienne Bailon. In May, he addressed the weight gain rumors in a tweet: "So i found out i was trending for being fat...thank you all it really made my day. And to the blogs saying i went to fat camp or rehab LOL then why am i still fat u fools??"
