It's not how Superman would have done it. Conservationist Henry Cavill is reportedly dating "animal killer" Marisa Gonzalo as he moved on from the Gina Carano split.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Henry Cavill quietly moved on from Gina Carano and into the arms of 21-year-old Marisa Gonzalo.

And Marisa Gonzalo allegedly went into "fame-whoring" mode as she posted photos of them together, particularly from Thanksgiving dinner.

"Considering that Henry has always been extremely private about his relationships (except for Kaley Cuoco PR showmance stint), it struck us as odd that he could be so blatantly clueless about his new girlfriend," it said.

However, Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed that Marisa Gonzalo planned everything in order to bag Henry Cavill after his split from Gina Carano.

"She stalked him at their shared gym until they ended up hanging out together, and when they started 'dating', she made sure that people found out. And now, she's making sure that people still know they're together, even if the public [and Henry's fans] all detest her for it," it said.

And fans are in uproar over Henry Cavill's choice for a new girlfriend in Marisa Gonzalo, following his split from Gina Carano.

One fan commented in response to a Perez Hilton article: "I dont understand why his Management Team aren't in damage control over this. While its(sic) quite normal in America to hunt (not something that I agree with) it's not normal to be disrespectful to animals alive or dead!!!!!!. Maybe he doesnt care what his fans think...."

Henry Cavill has his own foundation, the Cavill Conservation, which is working to protect the animals and their habitat.

Its website said "Durrell focuses on the most threatened animals in the most threatened places. By saving habitats they are restoring the balance of nature - therefore doing our bit to protect the planet."

Henry Cavill and his reps have yet to comment on reports about his new girlfriend Marisa Gonzalo. His ex-girlfriend Gina Carano is also silent on the issue.
