Liam Hemsworth dating rumors emerrge as Miley Cyrus' ex boyfriend was snapped sporting multi-colored toenails while vacationing in Byron Bay, Australia with a mystery blonde on New Year's Eve.

The "Hunger Games" actor kept it casual away from the Hollywood limelight as he even went barefoot while shopping for lots and lots of ice.

"A mystery blonde kept Liam company, wearing denim shorts and a white singlet as the pair stocked up on bags of ice," Daily Mail said. "The smiling woman also sported colorful polished toes, suggesting the duo had a makeover session together."

E! News reported that Liam Hemsworth was not the only guy in Hollywood who was snapped with colored fingernails.

To mention a few, the website claimed that Dean McDermott was photographed sporting green toes in 2012. Other celebrities include Johnny Depp, Russell Brand and Adam Lambert.

There was also Bruce Jenner, who's rumored to be undergoing a sex change, pulling over the Pacific Coast Highway in October last year to apply manicure on himself.

"Whether Liam's rainbow bright toes were an actual beauty statement-which we doubt-or more a playful prank, the world may never know," E! said. "Here's what we do know: The 'Hunger Games' star still looks smoldering hot and (muscular) than ever, pedicure or no pedicure."

It's not clear who the mystery blonde accompanying Miley Cyrus' ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth but she could just be a female friend.

Liam Hemsworth has been rumored to be dating several women since his split from Miley Cyrus. The breakup was hard for both parties but the "Hunger Games" actor found solace in the company of friends.

In a report from E! News, the actor talked about the split that sent him into a tailspin.

"Being around someone like Jen (co-star Jennifer Lawrence), who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now," he said, adding that he has since moved on. "I'm much happier...I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been."

Liam Hemsworth added that after the breakup, "I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment."

Last year, Liam Hemsworth was rumored to be dating "The Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev.
