Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, And Nikki Reed Dealt With Awkward Run-In At A Golden Globes Party? ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Confirmed To Lose Major Actor

Celebrities involved in public breakups have to deal with the fact that they will constantly see each other in Tinseltown's affairs. Recently, reports have surfaced that Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Nikki Reed dealt with an awkward run-in last Sunday night at a Golden Globes after party.

According to Hollywood Life, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder did not acknowledge each other een if they used to be good friends. Rumors have previously emerged that producers of the "Vampire Diaries" find the two's cold treatment of each other problematic.

"This is exactly why producers actually tried to forbid Nina and Ian from dating. They were worried something like this would happen. Ian and Nina tried to hide their relationship for so long because they were very strictly forbidden from that, but obviously they did go there," previously said one source to the publication.

"The Vampire Diaries" star Chris Woods was also present at the party. He has been rumored to be courting the brunette beauty.

Meanwhile, fans of the hit CW series will have mixed feelings. Joy, because the series has been renewed for season 7 following rumors that the show might end because of Paul Wesley's hints as well as Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's alleged feud. Sadness, because one major character will exit the show.

Show creator Julie Plec confirmed to Hollywood News Daily that Steven R. McQueen would leave the show as a series regular. She assured fans, however, that McQueen's character, Jeremy Gilbert, wouldn't die.

"We're saying goodbye to Steven McQueen, as a series regular, in the 14th episode. I was there when we were shooting his last scene and, spoiler alert, it's not a death scene because that would just be too mean," she said.
