Kate Upton proved why she's People's Sexiest Woman Alive as her racy ads for Carl Jr.'s have been helped bump up sales for the retail outlet.

CKE Restaurants CEO Andrew Puzder told Bloomberg in an interview that Kate Upton's racy ad for Carl Jr.'s really help them bump up sales.

Talking about the ads, he said, "Actually they open up really intersting avenues for us in marketing, when we're doing technology we're partnering with great companies like Microsoft which was very easy to work with."

"On marketing side, one of the ways you measure in this day and age is how much your ads are seen by people. Ordinarly, the paid time you get on TV. There's also what's called earn media credits," he added, explaining that these are ads they don't pay for.

The CEO then gave an example of their ad with People's Sexiest Woman Alive, Kate Upton.

"An ad that's very popular you might get a hundred, a hundred fifty thousand, maybe two hundred thosand if it's very popular," he said. "We did an ad with Kate Upton and got two billion media credits."

"Outside the US, we are in 31 countries so this international aspect of advertising is very helpful, that's really is a meaningful benefit from the way we market," he said of Kate Upton's racy ads for Carl Jr.'s.

Meanwhile, Classical Lite reported that Kate Upton reportedly rejected Justin Verlander's marriage proposal but not because People's Sexiest Woman Alive doesn't love him.

"According to the latest gossip news updates, the topless Sport Illustrated Instagram model didn't split with the Detroit Lion; the buxom blonde bombshell simply explained that she was focusing on building her career and net worth during this stage of her life -- not getting engaged or settling down," it said.
