Cressida Bonas is starting to live her dream to become an actress as Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend was reportedly considered to be part of the hugely popular show "Downtown Abbey."

In a report from Daily Star, the 25-year-old model is a huge fan of the show and has met with its creator Julian Fellowes during the run-up to the Golden Globes ceremony.

According to the tabloid, Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas impressed the creator during their brief meeting.

"Cressida is trying to break into Hollywood and knows a Downton role would do wonders for her profile, not only in the UK but also the US," it said. "While it was a very informal chat, Julian was said to be hugely impressed with her."

Julian Fellowes also reportedly promised to have the UK casting director meet up with Cressida Bonas for "a possible cameo" next season. If she does well, it could "lead to a more permanent role."

Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas split in the middle of last year. Since their split, the 30-year-old royal bachelor has been linked to several women including Camilla Thurlow, a charity worker, and Amanda Sheppard, the ex-wife of Bryan Ferry.

Cressida Bonas' dating life has been pretty quiet but her career is moving forward as she just inked a Mulberry deal for its spring and summer collection.

"Mulberry saw Cressida's final dance video from studying at Leeds University and were charmed by her and her movement which inspired the concept," the fashion house said in a statement.

Earlier, it was reported that Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry has gotten back together on the intervention of her mom.

According to the Independent, Lady Mary Gaye Curzon has been helping Cressida Bonas snag back Prince Harry.

Curzon "is said to be dishing advice to her daughter on keeping the royal romance alive, especially after her half-sister Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe was linked to Prince William before he met Kate Middleton," the report claimed.
