Tiger Woods met a freak accident while celebrating the win of his race skier girlfriend Lindsey Vonn, who was surprised by the golfer missing a tooth.

According to TMZ Sports, Tiger Woods' front tooth was knocked off by a videographer covering the skiing competitoin at the World Cup in Italy.

"During a crush of photographers as the awards podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged toward the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth," his agent Mark Steinber said, adding that his tooth was knocked out in the process.

Ever the camper, Tiger Woods decided to stay and support his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn and just covered his mouth with a mask that has a skull emblazoned on it.

"But when he moved in to kiss the victorious Lindsey, the mask went down and Tiger showed what appeared to be the remnants of what became one of the most famous domestic disputes ever," TMZ reported.

Tiger Woods lost the tooth when his ex-wife Elin Nordegren threw a phone, which smacked him full in the face following the reports that the famous golfer was cheating with several other women.

However, despite the missing tooth, Tiger Woods still has every reason to celebrate as girlfriend Lindsey Vonn won a super-G "and broke a world record to become the most successful female in Alpine skiing World Cup history," said E! News.

According to the Associated Press report, as published on Golf Channel, Tiger Woods tried to go incognito and surprise his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn but the joke's on him as she recognized him immediately.

"He loves that stupid mask," she said. "I didn't think this could get any better than (Sunday) with my entire family here, but now with Tiger here, this is unbelievable. "I said, 'I can't believe you came.' And he said, 'I told you.'"

"I had no idea he was here. He told everyone to keep it a secret and I'm surprised. Normally no one can keep a secret in my family. ... He just showed up. ... He has a tournament soon. So he's got a lot of work and I'm surprised that he was able to come all the way over here for a few hours to watch me ski," Lindsey Vonn told reporters of her boyfriend Tiger Woods.
