'Hell's Kitchen' Host Gordon Ramsay Goes Sporty On Coffee Run; Shares Recipe For Health & Fitness

"Hell's Kitchen" host Gordon Ramsay, a known triathlete, went sporty during a coffee run in Malibu on Tuesday. The Michelin chef also shared his recipe for a healthy lifestyle.

According to the TMZ, the British chef and reality tv host was on his "workout gear after a triathlon training session." He was also seen wearing dark sunglasses to shield his eyes from the sun.

The website said that chef Gordon Ramsay already completed 15 marathons and three ultra-marathons as well as one Ironman and three half-ironmans. His best record? He clocked at 3:30:14 in 2004.

Gordon Ramsay is training three times a week so he can participate in the 70.3 Ironman triathlon in Staffordshire, UK along with around 100 athletes.

In the official site, the Ironman 70.3 event in Staffordshire "will consist of a 1.2-mile swim in Chasewater reservoir and a 56-mile bike course through the stunning countryside outside Lichfield, Burton-upon-Trent and across Cannock Chase area of outstanding natural beauty. The concluding 13.1 mile run will start and finish at the historic Shugborough country estate, the former ancestral home of Lord Lichfield, a renowned royal photographer and cousin of Queen Elizabeth II."

Meanwhile, "Hell's Kitchen" host Gordon Ramsay shared some recipes with Telegraph for health and fitness.

In the article, the British chef and restaurateur said that when training, fuel is "so important."

"Everyone thinks the more you train, the less you eat, but not so," he said.

However, the irascible "Hell's Kitchen" host said that choosing the right kind of food, as well as eating at the right time, is crucial to maximizing the amount of fuel intake the athlete puts in his or her body.

"The triathlon lifestyle fits into the chef's lifestyle. I don't have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I eat five times a day - small portions," Gordon Ramsay said.
